Ce voyage d’une journée au départ de Marrakech vous emmène à la découverte des magnifiques cascades d’Ouzoud et des villages berbères de l’Atlas. Accompagné d’un chauffeur parlant anglais, vous traverserez plusieurs villages traditionnels où vous pourrez observer le mode de vie simple des habitants. Une fois arrivés aux cascades, vous pourrez profiter d’une randonnée, admirer les impressionnantes chutes d’eau de 110 mètres, voir des singes macaques et même vous baigner dans la rivière. La journée se termine par un déjeuner traditionnel avant le retour à Marrakech.

One Day Trip from Marrakech to the Ouzoud Waterfalls and Berber Villages
This day trip from Marrakech to the Ouzoud waterfalls and Atlas Mountains is a fantastic way to discover the area and learn more about Morocco’s natural resources, without having to get too far away from Marrakech.
The tour will begin at around 8 in the morning, when we leave Marrakech in the direction of the Haouz region. Of course, you will be guided through this tour by an English speaking driver to facilitate communication with the locals. This exciting road trip is going to take us through many small Berber villages, where you can feel the simple and relaxed lifestyle of the locals. Through the Middle Atlas Mountains, we will finally get to our destination: the Ouzoud waterfalls.
Hiking through the surrounding area to the waterfall is a magical experience, since it allows you to witness up close the greatness of the 110 meters tall waterfalls. We might also see some wild Macaque monkeys since they inhabit the area. If you feel like it, you can totally go for a swim at the river, which is clean but cold (perfect for a hot summer day)!
We will have a traditional lunch at one of the restaurants in place run by Berber locals, then continue relaxing and enjoying our time at the waterfall before finally returning to Marrakech

Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, where you’ll pass through winding roads and traditional Berber villages, enjoying stunning views of the rugged terrain.
Arrival in Ouarzazate
Your first destination is Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” due to its film studios where many famous movies were shot. You’ll visit these studios and learn about their role in the film industry.
Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah
Next, you’ll explore the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a stunning example of traditional Moroccan architecture. This kasbah has served as the backdrop for many blockbuster films, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
Lunch at a Local Restaurant
