Itinerary
Day 1: Agadir – Marrakech
Depart from Agadir and travel to Marrakech. Explore the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, alive with storytellers, musicians, and food stalls. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque and stroll through the peaceful Majorelle Garden. Spend the evening soaking up the city’s unique atmosphere.
Day 2: Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Ben Haddou – Skoura – Dades Valley
Travel east across the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying panoramic mountain views. Stop at the historic Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue through scenic valleys and dramatic landscapes before reaching the Dades Valley, known for its striking rock formations and serene surroundings.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga
Follow the Dades Valley road toward the spectacular Todra Gorge, with towering canyon walls and a narrow riverbed. Continue toward the Sahara, arriving in Merzouga. Embark on a sunset camel ride into the dunes and spend the night in a desert camp with traditional music and dinner under the stars.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert Exploration – Alnif – Tazarin – Ouarzazate
Explore the Sahara in the morning, visiting nomadic families, Erg Chebbi dunes, and Khamlia village, famous for its music. Continue west through desert towns and valleys, arriving in Ouarzazate, the gateway to southern Morocco. Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Taznakht – Taroudant – Agadir
Travel toward Taznakht, known for Berber carpets and weaving. Visit local workshops and markets, then continue through scenic countryside to Taroudant. Arrive back in Agadir by late afternoon, concluding your 5-day Moroccan adventure filled with mountains, deserts, historic villages, and lively cities.
