About the Activity
This exciting day tour is going to take us through Marrakech’s most important attractions and monuments. With the help of an experienced local guide, we will uncover all of this red city’s secret gems.
After we pick you up in the morning, we will start by discovering the Majorelle botanical garden and its founder Jacques Majorelle. After his death, the famous designer Yves Saint Laurent purchased the garden and opened it to the public. The Majorelle garden is the result of Jacques Majorelle’s life-long work, containing both exotic and native species of plants and flowers all over it. While we’re here, we can also visit the Berber museum located inside the property. Then, we will head to the Old Medina to have lunch at one of the traditional restaurants.
After lunch, we will continue our tour by visiting the famous Bahia palace, with its intricate designs and traditional architecture. Next on our schedule is the Jewish quarter, which has a special vibe on its own; and the Saadian Tombs, which are a remnant of the 15th century during the reign of the Sultan Ahmed El Mansour.
Finally, we will end our tour by a visit to the famous Jamaa El Fna square, where the heritage and different arts of Morocco are showcase
